The best Chinese restaurant in Dallas, in a nice area and very cheap. My friend and I go here multiple times a week when I am in town because it is inexpensive and the General Tso's Chicken is not only fantastic, it is also huge. The portion size is what makes this place excellent.I recommend it to anyone in HP or anywhere else because it is just a great spot for lunch or dinner and to just chill out and talk.

Do not order delivery from this restaurant:Delivery Woes:- It took us 2hrs to get our delivery when they claimed it would take "40min"- When I called the restaurant after an hour waiting, we were told that the driver would be on his way. When we called an hour later, we were told that the driver had been waiting outside. Yet no one bothered to call us. When notifying the restaurant of this, we received a sassy response from the employee on the phone.Food Woes- We ordered Moo Shu Chicken with the 4 pancakes. The pancakes were dry and broke as soon we touched them. In addition the vegetables were unseasoned and tasted very bland. We could have made something better on our own.Overall, our experience with Wang's Chinese Cafe was quite negative and I will NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone. We wish them all the best in business, but we will definitely not be returning as customers.

We got Wang's delivered to satisfy an asian craving and were just satisfied. I will start by saying that the crab wontons were delightful. We ordered Kung Pao Chicken and Beef Lo Mein. Enjoyed the beef lo mein, however the beef was VERY sparce...maybe only 10 small pieces in all. Good flavor though, a little on the greasy side. The chicken was the biggest downfall. It had that strange chicken flavor, wasn't quite white meat, a little sketchy, that kinda chicken.I would maybe order again, but stick to beef dishes. And crab rangoons :) But more likely, will continue looking for good, go-to chinese food. One last thing, it was nice to be able to order online.

Wang's is a little more pricey than your average Chinese take-out, but it's usually pretty well worth it. I was feeling extra hungry today, so I loaded up for a feast: crab puffs, shrimp lo mein, General Tso's chicken, and an egg roll for good measure. The crab puffs were awesome. Crispy fried outside, creamy cheese and crab on the inside. Although, once they sit for a while, the crispiness turns into chewiness, so eat them while hot.My egg roll was good and flaky, but there isn't much more to say about it really. The General Tso's chicken is usually pretty good, but it was somewhat lacking today. I mean, the flavor was good, but there was no heat to it at all. General Tso's is supposed to be spicy, so I was surprised at the mildness of it today. There were a couple of peppers floating in my order, but they sure didn't add any kick.I absolutely LOVE their shrimp lo mein. The noodles are just right, but aren't as greasy as you'll find at most places. But what really seals this dish is the shrimp. They're big and seared with lots of flavor. I just wish there were more of them.If It hadn't been for the General Tso's, I would have given Wang's five stars hands down.Read my other reviews, complete with pictures:The Barbecue Fiendhttp://barbecuefiend.blo…

It took over a hour for them to get our food to us. The dumplings were cold and the food barely had any flavor at all. This was the first time I'd tried Wang's and I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. Really??? Over an Hour!

Don't waste your money. Probably the worst take out chinese food I've ever had. Four Treasures (extra spicy) was a dish of water chestnuts and sticky bland brown goop. Oh, there was 2 pieces of limp yellow broccoli and a couple carrots.
Title: The Best Place to Order-In!2009-11-13T00:00:00
When I moved to the area i spent months scanning for a good Chinese delivery place, and I am rather picky. Wang's has fresh good food with great flavor. So far everything I've had from there is tasty, but i especially love the fried rice. They have great service and a large delivery area. They can't be beat!?
Title: Good food, not bad price2009-11-11T00:00:00
I have worked in highland park for almost 5 years now, for the better part of it I have ordered from Wang's. The food is good, the portions are great and the price is not terrible. All in all for a good decently priced Chinese food (that delivers) I would definitely recommend ordering.?
Title: Best Chinese Food Delivery Serving the M...2009-10-30T00:00:00
In contracts to the reviewer below, I think Wang's is the best chinese food that is available for delivery to the M-Streets. Having lived in Dallas for 10 years, the hardest thing to find is good chinese food delivery. Wang's sets itself apart by serving consistently good food that is quite healthy compared to others and has large servings with ample meats and seafood. While other restaurants in the area may skimp on the good stuff Wang's satisfies even the most healthy appetite. I just ordered it again tonight and am looking forward to it. Another point in favor of Wang's is that I have ordered 10 different dishes and they have all been very good. We are getting ready to move and I hope Wang's delivers there as well.?
